Trail Head: Blue Lakes Road

This loop features Blue Lakes Road, Forestdale Road, and CA88. Blue Lakes is mainly paved and Forestdale is dirt with rocky sections. The loop can be ridden clockwise (climbing on Blue Lakes/descending on CA88) or counterclockwise (climbing on CA88 / descending on Blue Lakes). You’ll spend more time climbing on dirt going counter-clockwise or more time descending on dirt going clockwise.

The loop features asphalt, gravel, dirt, and rocky surfaces.
